As an artist, I am driven by a simple but powerful goal: to make people happy.
The source of inspiration for "Wide Open" comes from the breathtaking vistas found in the Western region of the United States. I drew inspiration from the hues commonly used in midcentury design and decor, and incorporated them into this artwork. To enhance the overall effect, an oil glaze was applied over the acrylic paint, creating a heightened sense of drama.
Using acrylic paint and expressive brushstrokes, I infuse each piece with a sense of movement and energy that draws the viewer in and encourages them to explore the intricate patterns and textures found in nature. Each painting is a testament to the delicate balance between humanity and nature, reminding us of the beauty and wonder that surrounds us.
