As an artist, I am driven by a simple but powerful goal: to make people happy.
"Perfect Day" was actually inspired by a photo I snapped while my husband and I were on a road trip at Sullivan Island, SC. After enduring a long winter, it was truly the perfect day as we walked on the beach with the warm sun shining down on us. Looking at the finished painting now, it reminds me that even though winter can feel never-ending and it's definitely not my favorite season, it's moments like these that make it all worth it.
Using acrylic paint and expressive brushstrokes, I infuse each piece with a sense of movement and energy that draws the viewer in and encourages them to explore the intricate patterns and textures found in flora. Each painting is a testament to the delicate balance between humanity and nature, reminding us of the beauty and wonder that surrounds us.
